My Story

So, who is Del?

In a nutshell, Del is a wife, a mom, grandma, intercessor, member of Aglow International, but at heart, she is a Pen-4-The-Lord.

Yes, that is my calling. Although much of my time is spent with family, (while spoiling my grandkids to death,) and friends, my calling from the Lord, was to be a Pen for Him. That is my heart’s desire, to lead others to discover His love, grace, and mercy and to prepare them for eternity with Him.

So, why is my tagline Pen4TheLord?

Since you asked, I would love to share.

Twenty plus years ago I decided to take a night class on writing. This was my first jab at learning the craft. That evening, the Lord gave me a poem to guide me in this calling.

Yes, that is my calling. Although much of my time is spent with family, (while spoiling my grandkids to death,) and friends, my calling from the Lord, was to be a Pen for Him. That is my heart’s desire, to lead others to discover His love, grace, and mercy and to prepare them for eternity with Him.

Your Pen

Your pen is very powerful it will write words for Me.
Let many out of bondage and set the captive free.

It’ll mend a broken heart release their hurt and pain.
It’ll set them on their feet to see what they may gain.

So you see to write My words is yes a job for thee.
As I said to release the prisoner and set the captive free.

Free them from the chaos today their heart may hold.
Yes, free them from the many things they might not even know.

See when My Spirit speaks, and words are penned through you
they’ll find the peace they need in life each day to get them through.

So now you see the power that lies within your pen.
It will set my people free and then to Me in the end!
Amen!
